Sculptra Facial Rejuvenation& Sculptra Non-Surgical BBL

  • It’s important to understand that Sculptra is a bio-stimulator, not a filler. The Sculptra itself is not providing the filling action, but instead creates a reaction in the skin that forms new collagen. Sculptra usually requires more than one treatment to achieve adequate filling for most patients.

*Consultation required prior to treatment for the most accurate quote and treatment plan.

  • The Sculptra product lasts about two years after treatment, but the new collagen layer left behind may also last an additional two or more years.

  • Sculptra is considered a fairly comfortable experience by most people that have experienced the injections.

Sculptra is composed of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a molecule which is biodegradable, so it does not harm the body and is easily broken down and absorbed. The Sculptra itself is reconstituted with water and lidocaine, which is a numbing medication. This helps to numb the injection site, so that you experience minimal discomfort, if any at all.

The injections are done mostly with a cannula, which is a blunt, flexible tube that causes less trauma than a needle.

  • After you receive Sculptra injections, it’s very important that you follow the strict protocol of massaging the injected area five times a day, for five minutes each time, for five days after treatment.

*Please see the Aftercare Information for further instructions and post treatment expectations.

Advanced Anti-Aging TCA Peel (Chemical Peel)

  • A chemical peel is a cosmetic treatment that uses a chemical solution to improve the appearance of the skin by causing trauma or injury to its layers, resulting in peeling off the old skin to reveal smoother, more even, and brighter skin. Chemical peels are used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, certain types of acne, skin scarring, sun and age spots, uneven skin tone, and dull complexion. The chemical solution used depends on the depth of the peel desired, with a light peel providing subtle improvement over time, a medium peel giving your skin a smooth, fresh look, and a deep peel producing the most dramatic results.

  • Chemical peels offer a range of benefits for the skin, including treatment for issues such as acne, pigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, and sun damage, among others. Chemical peels come in different types and strengths, with AHAs and glycolic acid peels being the gentlest and trichloroacetic acid peels being the strongest. The treatment involves a chemical solution that exfoliates the skin, revealing regenerated skin once the peel is peeled away.

Chemical peels have ten primary benefits, including:

    • Acne treatment

    • Minimizing pores

    • Erasing fine lines and wrinkles

    • Fading discolouration

    • Lifting skin

    • Soothing scarring

    • Balancing texture

    • Smoothing skin

    • Non-invasive treatment

    • Personalized approach

  • After a chemical peel, it is important to follow proper aftercare instructions from your aesthetician to ensure optimal results. After each soak, ointment should be applied and an antiviral medication should be taken for 10 to 14 days. Lotion or cream can also be applied to soothe the skin. It is necessary to avoid sun exposure until the skin has fully healed. The healing time can vary depending on the depth of the peel. Patients should expect some redness and peeling of the skin, which should subside within a week or two. It is also advised to avoid strenuous activities and heat exposure for several days after the treatment. Proper hydration and gentle cleansing of the skin are also recommended to promote healing.
